Steal is really broken or only my issues ?

Problem is – Use steal and in 60% case teleport me +- 5 meters out of target. Same problem I have even if I use [Infiltrator’s Signet]

Yep. Its absolutely ridiculous. Same thing with shadowstep and infiltrators arrow too. Theyll just rubberband back to the starting location. Lost too many fight because of this.

Yeah, I now open my attacks by bum rushing the enemy or wasting Basilisk venom on a projectile just so I can get near. Not worth the chance of steal going on full cd and wasting a precasted skill.

Yeah the recent changes to Steal have made it a really unreliable skill…
Way to go for “fixing” things lol

It also does it with Shadowstep, but it’s worse because it will use shadow return sometimes as well.

in light of the recent balance patch preview for thieves…. this is by far the biggest nerf… making steal unreliable…

btw, does anyone know what they were trying to fix? something about rubberbanding sometimes due to elavation? in my head its like… they fixed rubberbanding by making it rubberband more…

Yea it’s pretty bad. I feel like i’m being rubberbanded so hard it’ll snap my neck.

I think they were trying to fix the fact that you could get a stolen item while steal was obstructed. Right now a “smart” script will “quickly” determine if your steal has hit or is out of range or obstructed. Which takes long enough to cause delay, and has the same pathing issues as all other pathing skills have.
