Stealth bug fixed
Wait…nevermind…Shadows Refuge lasts longer, but we’re still getting revealed at the end of stealth, lol.
im pretty sure that was intended. the reveal out of shadow refuge was bugged. they’ll probably announce this.

Judging by the wording on the patch notes, I can’t say that I agree:
“Fixed a bug with stealth that was improperly placing the Revealed effect on players every time it was removed.”
edit New hotfix and it’s fixed for real now. =)
well being Im still downloading the patch now I dont know how someone else has downloaded and tested it out.

Well just logged in an no reveal. Its fixed.
still need to check 2 other bugs:
- when you are in stealth and interract with something, it reveals you
- the more attacks hit you the shorter is stealth

so <mug> trait (which deals damage on steal) in power line, cannot be used in synergy with <hidden Thief> (which stealth you on steal) in the shadow arts line anymore.
It just gives you an instant reveal instead.
I’m kinda sad , the additional <mug> added to the pressure of the steal attack.

PRO TIP: Don’t use hidden thief. It’s garbage. CnD and then hit steal. you’ll stealth.

yeah I figured that much. I’m experimenting some builds right now. I’ve never really relied on stealth before but it ended up in a viable but boring build in the long run.
That’s why I wasn’t that knowladgeable before.

I tried to use those two traits together on three different occasions since starting this game 2 weeks after release. There were instances were it worked and instances where it didnt, but it didnt work consistently enough to warrant using it. I just tried it two seconds ago, and as already stated and without surprise, it doesnt work.
Not to mention how terrible of a choice it is to actually use those two traits in combination with one another in the first place.

Stealth on steal is not even close to being the same as “release blinding powder” on steal.
It may appear that way, but they are not the same.
Look at it this way;
Steal —> BP = Steal —> Hidden Thief + Cloaked in Shadow
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

except that its not equal to hidden thief + cloaked in shadow, its equal to hidden thief + a blind. cloaked in shadow is a blind everytime you stealth, which is not at all what this trait does

I don’t foresee this trait functioning any different than the current bug. There’s no way that BP+Mug is going to end up in anything but a reveal. Its going to be a blind+mug.
