Id like to start by saying that i do not have a thief character at any level. That being said id like to find more about how this particular ability of the thief works. To my knowledge there is a 10 point trait that allows a condition cleanse when going stealth. Is this a one condition per stealth or full condition cleanse?

It seems that whenever i fight a thief, they go stealth with a full line of conditions, usually at around 25% remaining Hp and then come back within 2-4 seconds, fully cleansed and fully healed. Can someone be so kind as to explain this for me? I would create a thief myself but my character slots are full, thank for any assistance.

It removes 1 condition every 3 seconds, but this begins at the start of stealth and ticks every 3 seconds after that, so a Thief who has 15 points in SA will tick once upon entering stealth, and once more in the 4th second of stealth (and so on, unless stealth is broken/ends).

As for healing, 30 points in SA allows for healing in stealth, but it’s not anything major and requires longer periods of stealth to be really useful.

Thank you for the info, it always seems to be happening a lot faster than that.

Frankly, before Conditions went apekitten crazy and Necros could dump 6 Conditions + Fear on you within a second this trait made Thieves practically impervious to Conditions.

Any popular Thief build back then would stealth frequently and consequently remove conditions every few seconds.

This trait would be overpowered by all accounts, if Conditions weren’t so out of control as they are now. But they are, and in times where Singet of Agility will remove one of 6 Conditions a Necromancer can apply within seconds without even aiming, this trait is the only tool that allows Thieves to compete.

Pretty much this. Acrobatics needs to be buffed with some significant condi cleanse to get away from stealth gameplay

The stealth heal will also remove the damaging conditions (burning, poison, bleeding upon use) further compounding what you are seeing. This is on a 30 second cooldown though

Also, runes of Lyssa if you use all six has an ability that removes all conditions and turns them into boons when you use your elite skill…. which of course you can do while stealthed, BV comes to mind

The thief stolen stealth abilities and the trait to make the thief stealth under emergency conditions like low health as well as the stealth abilities that occur when stunned or jumping down or when you are hit for more than 10% of hitpoints. There’s a ton of them to drop you in, make that part of a D/D rotation and you’re pretty much stealthing alot!

I personally use infiltration set for mine so that just before being downed I get an extra blinding powder. Helps alot!
