Stealth = godmode ... or not?
The enemy thief was rather stupid in here though. You can dodge while inside the SR.
But besides that little note. Agreed, find the thief and start hitting him. A big advantage if you are teamed up with a thief, let him use stealth attack, when he hits the enemy thief he’ll get revealed and you’ll “know” where the enemy is (at the point your ally got revealed at).
Only when the thief is trying to escape you, you might have problems in locating him (assuming he didn’t use SR).

Also, LOL to that guardian. Oh, he put down an SR right next to the enemy, better swipe around completely outside outside the circle, doubt he’s going for a stomp or anything.
The enemy thief had plenty of time to react when you shadowstepped towards his SR, yet he stood still right in the center.
Stealth isn’t god mode, but it puts you in a huge positional advantage, and thieves should utilize this to always be a step ahead of their enemy.
Of course, stealth isn’t really overpowered if you just idle in that shadow refuge and welcome the ennemy hits with open arms.
That was hilarious.
My guess is the enemy thief expected you to act like the guardian did.
One could also title this post “How not to treat shadow refuge in PvP. A visual guide for offense and defense.”
That was pretty good video XD

I don’t think it is a good video, it’s just a stupid piece of action. The only purpose is to show 2 different reactions to the same input.
me —> SR = thief is still there, beat him hard
guardian —> SR = omg! what now?
Idd, it shows the difference between knowing the enemy’s skill (ofc you know his skills being a thief yourself, but that doesn’t matter) and not knowing their skills.
Whenever a profession beats me with a certain skill combo I’d look up what it does exactly and try to learn from my mistakes.
