I think it would be nice to make it so that when in stealth, monsters attack misses you.
Or if its too op, you can give it a percentage, like with a 50% 66% 75% chance of missing you. i think this would greatly increase the value of stealth build in pve

Or maybe this is just my inability of playing stealth build in a pve environment.

any thoughts?

would be useless, only time your using stealth in combat is to backstab, any other time your using it to run past mobs which are already not targeting you

The only change I want to see on stealth is the ability to break-off of channeling skills. I hate it that the mob follows you while in stealth because they are channeling a skill preventing you from getting behind them.

Wait, I thought that all attacks missed you while in stealth already, or not? Isn’t that why stealth is better than clones, protection, and heavy armor? Isn’t that why stealth makes you invincible?

I know, but that’s Lighter’s/the warrior’s argument. stealth is better than invincibility, and somehow you can deal damage while staying in stealth but you can’t deal damage when you’re invincible.

There’s also the clone argument where 1 clone is equivalent to more than 7% damage reduction.

I’ll take having one extra clone with me at all times to confuse the opponent over 7%health reduction any day of the week. Mesmers can have three up at all times.

Stealth is already powerful in PvE, you shouldn’t need a buff to it. Actually, PvE is so easy anyway that you could probably do most dungeons nacked.

In the game mode that you specified, PvE, that’s exactly right, stealth doesn’t need buffing at all.

The game mode that requires that you actually think is an entirely different story.
