Guild Wars 2

I recorded myself doing a commentary over some of my thief gameplay and I’d like some feedback on it. The sound is low so you may need to turn it up quite a bit.

This video has been sitting around for a while and I never really got up to posting it, however I’d just like to know if this is something people enjoy seeing.

I’ve been playing S/P SB since launch, and turned back to it after trying other builds each time. With the ini regeneration speed buff, and PWhips increased popularity. This set got a HUGE negative image, because of players spamming PW. Altough I love to play it, and see it in action.

That was nice, only thing though, I don’t see much stealthing potential with S/P anyway so putting stealthless in the title may not be needed.

Nice video and fun commentary. Full berserker 10/0/0/30/30 build if I am not mistaken? Respect for that, I tried some stealthless(eh, except a SR) s/p//sb roaming… didn’t like the result, compared to my 0/20/30/20/0 s/d//sb build. How do you deal with condi bunkers though?

I had a fairly long write up about condi bunkers but I just can’t explain it through words well and would much rather actually show it. However I don’t want to really show spvp duels since it shows names.

Suffice it to say you just need to do more damage to them while taking less from them.

Also you can drop 30 in acro for 30 in crit depending on just how tanky your opponent is. Don’t think taking down condi tanks is easy, especially with as low condi removal as I have.

In team fights you just need to SB spam while waiting for an opportune moment to PW since you will be incredibly squishy if you run full zerk like me. Alternately just open with PW, and kill someone quick.

From now on I think every PvP video needs commentary by a sassy black guy.

I’ve been running P/W for a bit now and run a 10/30/0/0/30 with Ogres and it’s definitely a lot of fun. The burst is pretty sweet and can melt most non-heavy glass builds from full HP in the time it takes for BW to wear off as long as a Haste procs (which is most of the time on the initial burst).

In my experience so far, with S/P you can afford a bit more margin of error in-battle than the same build with D/P because of the built in PW evasion and Infil Return, but in return you have a much lower chance to escape if you mess up because of the lack of Stealth from weapon skills.

Facing Condi Bunkers and/or multiple high burst classes at the same time are the biggest problems for me with this build because I have min Armor and HP, and have only Infil Return and Shadow Return as condi-removals. Although neither are unwinnable if you play your cards right. A good heal interrupt after landing your burst can seal the deal against most condi-bunkers and body cleaving with PW can melt the other glassies if they dare to res.

Stay far, far away from zergs though… I swear every time I go zerging with this build I just end up as rally fodder for the enemy.
