just a quicky here, does stow weapon work for you guys on demand? because most of the time I am having to spam my key bind like 4 times and i am still using my AA chain.

is this normal ? because if it is its pretty bad tbh. GW1 had a cancel action butting that halted any action you did, why cant they do the same here ?

I assume you mean stow weapon? Always works for me. Might have to do with the settings you’re using, maybe disable the auto attack (I believe its crtl-right click) and see if you have some other settings on.

oops yeah, stow weapon* I will edit that, thanks. hmm, I don’t think i could get a long with spamming #1 lol, would feel like i am a guardain in a wvw zerg :p. but I see montage videos of all class’s and they seem to stow weapon every time perfectly even with AA enabled.

Umm I mean it should work regardless. And it works for me well. Sadly its difficult to figure out the problem unless you had a video of the issue in this case.

I set my weapon holster to middle mouse button so I can spam it all I want without losing much. Pressing escape will also cancel skills without holstering your weapon which is preferable sometimes. Unfortunately you can’t rebind the escape cancel, and pressing it more than once will annoyingly open the settings menu. You can easily macro escape to something else though.

I have set my stow to ctrl mouse 5, very easy to access. i guess i should learn to play with AA off in pvp/wvw. thanks for the replys

Honestly I don’t think the AA is the issue, but if the issue is limited to your AA going off that’s your best bet.

here is the options i have “set” for combat. when i try to stow weapon with AA on it seem’s to try and complete the whole chain at times, but sometimes it will stow on demand. i dunno, gw2 is weird at times.

Yeah thats interesting. Ping is excellent, fps is solid so I’d probably rule those out. And the settings are what I have (besides I believe I think have I have stop auto attacking on target change checked).

I have no idea what the issue is TBH.

Oh well. i think it is better to have AA of anyway because of confusion. its better to have complete control over your own actions then to have AA on. thanks anyway ^^
