so, seeing the animation for finishing blow really left me disappointed. between the effects and the animation, it feels like a skill really made for PvP, and it’s hard to think of it as a physical skill.

so, I would like to suggest alternatives.

for my part, I think the animation from Stomp – a warrior physical – would work much better. the animation time is similar, it’s clearly a physical animation, and it makes sense as a finishing blow. (also doesn’t summon a banner out of nowhere…?)

plus, it’d only be a copy-paste scenario*, so it wouldn’t be too hard to pull off

(* I know there’s more to it than this, but it’s significantly easier than doing a new animation from scratch, no?)

I think it would flow much better to instead take a shorter part of the standard finisher animation.

At the moment, it does a quicker version of the Finish where you put your hand up, lower it then jump and bring your hand down.

What if, instead, they cut it so that you only have the jumping part to bring your hand down? They can slow it down or speed it up depending on how that goes with the cast time, but I think that would look much better.

It might be an engine limitation that finishing an enemy has to be a Finisher (hence a banner). /shrug

All I care about is the animation, whatever it ends up as, looking smooth. Right now it’s just a bit clunky.

I can see why they did it like that, people will know that animation will kill them out right. Can’t really deviate from it too much,
One suggestion though would be as you jump you do a flip and something like a heel kick to the ground.
Something to that effect, and ya try and get rid of the Iraq half the animation. And yeah keep the banners and other finishers, this with the SAB one would be amazing.

Liked Finishing Blow a lot. I did not like Uppercut. It should be more violent and abrupt. The target also needs to truly go up in the air.

when you finish someone using this elite, does it use that basic flag, or will it use your selected finisher?
