I’m not exactly sure when this happened, but you can no longer jump while casting to cancel the placement of the return marker. This is actually a significant loss in chasing power for S/X.

I tested this on golems in the mist. It still works.

I didn’t even know you could! Does that mean you can shadowstep in succession without having the skill replaced?

Tried it out, still can’t seem to cancel it, did you use jump to cancel it. =)

No. It just prevents the teleport back, so it still costs the full initiative to go one-way.

This just helps reduce the need for shortbow in situations where there are a lot of targets in the distance in the direction you want to go.

Works fine for me still… Maybe you got some Ping issues or other forms of skill-lag?

i just tested sword 2 at 180 fps an found out if you air cancel it in to instant shadow return it only reward you 2 point for leading attacks. over the 5 it should.

So I was able successfully do it, but only once out of like 20 tries. It must be bad lag I guess.
