I haven’t played Thief in a long time and I know the general opinion is that Thieves are in a bad spot right now.

Disregarding all the negativeness, are there any S/P builds out there? I never see any Thieves using S/P, is it as unloved as P/P was back in the day?

I don’t like stealth and I used to run the pistol whip build because of it’s lack of stealth. Is this not viable anymore?

I came up with a S/P Build today, and kitten it’s good, a lot of preassure and the damage it’s okay. I’m totally running this for a long time and the good thing is that i just expect buffs.

You can run s/p, but doing so you will be putting yourself at a fair disadvantage compared to any of the other thief weapon sets. Unfortunately this disparity will only grow after the December 10th changes.

If you want an easy mode build just play p/d; it’s very forgiving and fits in well with the condition spam meta most groups are running.

If you like a challenge and are able to drastically outplay your opponent s/p is just barely doable currently.
