Sword/Pistol
Jon said something about splitting the skill in to 2 halves like FS/LS, which would enable them to increase the stun duration and do other things to it. At least, that’s what I think he said. Check the Dec 10 thread with the red tag.

Resident Thief

I think most (if not all) S/P thieves just want the old 1 second stun duration back.
It’s funny though… After the stun change patch, I predicted Anet wouldn’t just simply revert PW back to it’s old state like everyone wanted. I predicted that they would instead do some “creative” alternative that kittening sucks instead as a bandaid. How right I was…
I can’t believe they are really going to go through with the sword 2 nerf though.
Thief – Radderic
Mesmer – Smash Kablooey
I liked S/P, but with all the changes, I better start getting used to another weapon set. I’m mostly sad about the change to skill 2. No more escaping certain death if I stunned…
Would it still work if you’re immobilized? That’s going to be the deciding factor for me in changing the weapon combo.
I would also like to see something to boost S/P.
If they go through with the IS/IR nerf (which is primarily targeted at S/D in sPvP)
It would be a nice to see the S/P set get a nice buff to the dual skill to compensate that set from taking a bit of collateral damage just because it shares the same on hand weapon.

I like S+P in PVE, but it’s kinda jank to use in PvP/WvW nowadays.

I agree Foo in PvE S/P + D/D is the way to go.
