Interesting. Instead of being on-crit, like so many of our other traits, why not make it on-daze? This would give stealth S/D a chance and a controlling aspect to it, and in a lesser bit, S/P and D/P.
Hmm. Maybe make the confusion last longer, too. Like 8 seconds, ish? ‘Course, then you’d have to increase the ICD or something, eh?
Sword-specific traits mean traits that are useless when you swap to your short bow.
Keep traits as they are. The weapon versatility is a benefit, not a drawback.
That’s my 2 cents at least. =P

We do have dagger traits quite few if you asks me, I agree that we need some sword love. Not many just one or two. I find sword more fun and with more utility with other weapons, mind you I only PvE.
Ranger, Warrior, Guardian, Ele
Confusion on daze makes so much sense. Well, on every daze it would be way too strong, but it would give sword sneak attack a good way to support condi builds. I would like to see thief weaponsets with more condition options.
I really like some of these suggestions.

u cant use skills while dazed :P so it wouldnt do any dmg ….but they would also never give us a long 8 secs or anything like that so itd have to be short like every one of our other proc ocndis.
Confusion on daze really doesn’t make any sense to me, because they wouldn’t be able to use skills on a daze.
Maybe confusion tied to weakness? Or just more weakness in general.
Well, that’s true and all, but what about after the daze? Considering it might last longer than 5 seconds, it’d be worth it since a daze can last 1/2 a second or at most, 3s.
Or we can do something else, like Vulnerability, sort of like a Mesmer.
Still, got you thinking, eh?

Vulnerablity would be preferable since the daze is S/x’s time to shine.

No kidding, I think you guys should start thinking what it would be like if you were on the receiving end, which you might very well be if this ever went in.

I suggested to the maximum option, as Incendiary Powder / Dhuumfire.
On spvp forum already calculated that the only auto attack engineer can do 6k damage. One shot = 6k over 5-6 sec.

We should move away from the damage conditions I think. What Sword Thief is going to be running condi when the set has no inherent DoTs? (Also as stated, confusion and daze at the same time is just counter intuitive.)
