Sword skill 2 shadow return is broken
I’d actually like a fix for this as well. I hate every time I use return 2 skill in combat and get sent flying 9001km away from them causing them to get away when I only meant to return and step back in for another immob.

wow…gives some new ways to run supply. but you still have to contend with the cooldown, doesnt give you that much time to get far away and do lots of dmg. Also, I was playing around with it and water, and found that if swimming between points it wouldnt teleport me back, even a short distance.

Shadow return should be instantly cancelled as soon as you move futher than 1200 range from the ‘anchor’ and revert to Infiltrator Strike.
That would theach those abusers to use the skill properly.

Another “buff” to the common people, but a very strong and sure nerf for the advanced tPvP players. The potential of that teleport was just crazy good.
Sword#2’s 1st part was never a spammable gap closer like Heartseeker and was never meant to be if you ask me. If you wanted that, play dagger imo.
Also, Shadow Return now feels absolutely unreliable. You just cannot know where its weird formula will drop you to. Sometimes objects glitch it out and it won’t teleport half of that 1200.

We are improving thieves mobility.
Infiltrator’s Strike is no longer 1200 range and has a high chance to bug you into walls and some times simply hit the terrain and only teleports you 300.

Just add it to the list of “to-be removed from the game” list along side of stealth.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

It’s absolutely disgusting. I literally played thief for the mobility of the class, I barely even used stealth, so i sat through every other nerf they sent our way.
Stealth, damage, etc. I sat through it all, because i played dynamic with IS/shadow return and very mobile, evasive, with escapability.
Now they go and do this. Nerf a thief mobility skill, the best one the thief has that you can base an entire play style around.
Done with thief permanently now. Just disgusting. DISGUSTING.
I’m glad I did not spend money on commander or get ascended gear for my thief, because i knew this idiocy would happen eventually.

At what point did any of you ever put faith in ArenaNet? Because it sounds like many did. I never did, and never will due to the parent company.

You are most certainly NOT a thief to make that horrible analysis.
Never thought that it would get fixed the day I made a thread requesting for it to get fixed, but thanks A-Net.
For the people that are upset learn to adapt, the skill was clearly imbalanced and broken.
