More seriously, if the guild needs a few coins I might be able to throw some the guilds way.

I was recently put in charge of the NA side of the guild with a few others. I’d love to get the guild active again however that will require a lot of people willing to actively participate in, organize, suggest, and promote events.

Suggestions and such are welcome when it comes to that stuff, but first we gotta rebuild our ranks and get people active again.

If someone throws me an invite (NA) I will gladly help getting the NA guild up and running. I also know a few thieves that may join as well (I know its not a thief only guild but with the tag TEEF, ill look at all my teef oriented friends). Ive held many ranks in different guilds so I may be of some use here.

I’m willing to run events, generally, or specific trainings.

I enjoy teaching people thief mechanics so I’m always open to that or teaching people about P/D more specifically.

Saerni, that’s a great idea. Run some training camps for newer players where they can ask questions and learn from higher level players in the guild. Maybe we get one person for each set who is really good at it and then let others who want to experience that set learn from them?

We have the basic arena up, we can have a training with thief vs X. We all have our tips and tricks against a certain class. It’s also good because all players of different level would confront their view…

True, it should be fairly easy to set up given that we have our arena already. Maybe that will be our first project once we get the guild a bit more active.

It’s a guild hall arena. We had a spvp arena for awhile but with HoT and the guild arena we stopped maintaining it.

I’d suggest making a spvp arena (for the skill set difference and ability to let new players change builds.

We could use a perma Colleseum map for example.

I finish my ember bay track and I will start working on the reward track with the arena tokens. I will put them in the guild bank as soon as I get them.

I will as well, if we could get an arena going again in spvp that’d be a huge step to giving people an inside look on how to play and play against thief. This is cool and if we get enough support and potential participation we could have a super successful startup to the guild again.

I was responsible for maintaining arena on EU, however the costs were rather high and there was just me and Jana runnung daily CoF to keep it up. Nobody else was actually willing to put some effort in keeping it up so we gave up once HoT guild arenas came out.

It sounds all great and you might even get few people in first week or so to support the arena but after a while it is just one person keeping it up and it gets rather costy and tedious. I think guild arena is fine as it is atm.

Hi, I’m super keen to learn Theif and how to use it for WvW in particular. I want to learn about roaming and scouting with it also… I usually run with my guild, raiding with necro and guard, but since I started this game my real love has been for thief… I want to learn how to fight using theif- I just haven’t had the chance to really learn it well enough to be useful. any help would be appreciated

I completely understand where you’re coming from and that will definitely present a problem in the future if it goes to that. Worst comes to worst we invade empty dueling servers if we need a pvp arena.

We should do a group stream how to thief AMA. I’m up for answering questions if done on a weekend.

I can stream something like that but my quality isn’t all that good due to limited pc capabilities and such. If people don’t mind an iffy quality streak done by someone who is bad at streaming I can do it. However, it’s probably best if one of you guys does it, I’ll just guest on it.

My computer is probably good enough to handle it…but I need to look into a second monitor to help manage everything.

I’m also a streaming newbie, so I’d need to mess around with Twitch settings and the like. I’ve done a little streaming using the basic options in the NVIDIA application (I have a 1080) so maybe we can set up a test stream and go from there.

It’s a boring task but it would be good to add EU/NA to artisan/scholar/teacher….

I don’t think we have a good view of who is NA and who is EU (definitely more NA than EU) . Except for people we see on a regular basis..

Experience With Thief:

Been playing since HoT release, more or less only as a thief. Most of my experience is running as condi since lvl 80, with a bit of practice on staff power over the last few months. I mostly play in sPvP and Wvw, with the occasional fractal thrown in. I would very much like to up my game, learn some new styles, and discuss the profession I love with other like minded players.

Going to have to take you up on that. I actually ran into you in PvP last weekend, and I most definitely need the practice against p/d. . . the fights were a bit. . . frustrating on my end. Well done on your part.

Yeah I remembered you from that match and we’ve had a few matches over the last few seasons if I’m right.

It’s possible, but probably not likely. This is the third season I’ve played in, and I only made bronze the first, silver the last, and just got into gold this season. Either way though, it was a good fight. I’ll hit you up next time I play.
