Idk really know where to put this…. It’s addressed to the frustrated Thief community.

They have this on lock guys. HoT release is in about a month. If you paid attention to their marketing strategy, they have been targeting new players like crazy. So we don’t really matter as much right now, but listen closely.

This is what will happen:

Us veteran players will enjoy the game, but still be bitter about the BWEs and feedback experience. WE, will keep complaining. That’s what we do guys! * High fives everyone *

New players will be like “Hot kitten ” but a few months later, some of them will also start catching up with us. The groaning and moaning will grow relentlessly with us, but also with other professions

Then Redemption Patch will come: includes a lot of fixes for everybody, a joint effort by the United Armed Dev Forces.

- Us veterans players will be like “FINALLY, I had to sacrifice my wife and kids for this.”

- New players will be like “wow Anet is so responsive. Such an amazing company and feedback. only 3 months into the game and they came with all of this?!. Here let me have 7000 gems… for me and guild. wow such efficiency, much professional.”

Then we live somewhat happily ever after.

The end.

As long as Thief gets balanced in the process I’m okay with any of Anets strategies.

The real conspiracy is that Thieves will cease to exist post-HoT. There will be an Inquisition, either they join other professions or they get crucified as heretic.

There is no happy ending.

They better nail it, due to “he who knows his name” lack of comments on base thief he probably does/should especially the vicious attack against OH dagger. If missed it’s 6 more months or 3 more years to go. I would like to think you are right but the devs are so unpredictable and have different point of views it seem like fantasy.

Yeah that’s true. If it’s once every six months, we, I mean, THEY better not mess this up.
