When using Dagger or Sword it’ll happen often that I will not move while dodging if I just press my dodge button without also holding down a directional key. It seems as if the autoattack animations want to finish and pull me in after the dodge starts, resulting in my character staying in place and getting hit by whatever I wanted to dodge.
It’s not that big of a deal to me since I usually will be holding down a movement key as well, but I figured while I’m waiting for the patch impatiently I might as well do something productive in that time to help make the game better -.-

It is probably unsolvable issue as it might also involve ping/server load.
I use V only for back dodge though, and use it rarely.
I would not hope for this but best solution would be to ask devs about how casting/queueing/dodging/instant abilities are prioritized. I cannot claim thathappened so on the server side, but I definitely did experience not only seeing auto attacking during dodge roll but also some of the skills with cast times to continue cast, finish and do their effects during dodge on my side

I think there are also cases where you can be immobilized and tap withdraw/roll for init and it will never trigger, which is supposed to break immob
