The long reveal in spvp can it be reversed?
A lot of things are different in sPvP: Gears, stun duration, revealed (as you mentioned), and others I don’t even bother with.
All 3 settings (PvE, WvW, PvP) used to have 4s and there was an outrage because this is only necessary in PvP settings.
But PvE should only have 1s revealed, to be honest.

PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

S/D – Tactical Strike is broken, can’t be used frequent enough to match its low daze duration which leaves the thief too open to attacks and unable to keep control. Only viable builds are variations of dodgy glass cannon FS builds.
D/D – Only viable for DB and semi-viable for kill spike builds(which has been nerfed too much as well).
P/D – Burst, which was already low took a hard hit.

the nerf god agrees that revealed “buff” should last 4s in wvw
for Pve it won’t be that good…

It’s PvE, so yes. It’s not about making it easy, rather it opens a lot of combo possibilities if revealed, as hindrance factor, is minimized or removed.
The purpose of revealed in PvE is just to cause grief…there’s no “balance” needed. It’s not like we deal gazillion of damage to mobs by limiting revealed in PvE.
