hey guys..
Today i again loggin in with thief, checking out the new updates.. as always thief got nerfed what a big suprise. I was playing 2 soloq matches and was already raging.

1. steal bug.
i´m direct next to my target: out of range … i love it. Second thing: test out your 900 range with shortbow autoatack on pvp test golem.. you will see shortbow 900 range is alot more than steal 900 range.

2. S/D is kitten. The new update make it become unplayable cuz learconus strike was the high damage skill. Now its very tricky to “unlock” it cuz hitting flanking strike is often tricky and the dmg is kitten.

3. ranger. today i had the luck to play as s/d thief vs a ranger. I play since release and @ release it was like: port to ranger hit him 2x and he is ds. That is obviously unbalanced but the sitiuation at the moment it is as well. Hitting flanking strike will become my lifetask :o with the s/(dunno) weapon its like perma evade… while i always hav poison and bleedin. With longbow whole time condition as well while decent heal.. and since s/d thief dont really hav very well condi remove its kitten.

4. Guards: dmg guard… how to kill em?? whole time burning ( 900 dmg/sec). To kill a dmg guard u hav to whole time remove condi while dodging other dmg skills. Maybe the developers dont got yet, that infiltrator strike dont deal very well dmg..

5. Bunker guards… wasnt easy to kill em be4 update but u was able to burst em if they r dumb enough… and in group it was able to..
now dmg will decreased. new tactic: swtiching to sb and put poison and spam auto atack and cluster bomb to make his utilitys cooltime and w8 for teammates?? nice -.-

6. turret engi: the most belanced build in whole game.. no gameplay but 1 vs 1 unbeatable if u r able to find your healing turret key on keyboard.

7. Mesmer: be4 update it was " easy going" to kill mes… meanwhile its tricky, its a challenge…which is acceptable.. +1

8. warrior: cuz of lower dmg= even more tricky as it was be4: one time miss dodging evicerate= down.. one time no stunbreaker= down…

10. power nec: i love it. instand lich, instand 7 k/hit. Instand down. nice. how a game should work.

11. condi nec: how could burst him? it wasnt easy be4 but now? cleaning conditions is still hard.

conclusion: s/d is crap. bb, farewell nice build.
and now: playing p/d? only build which wasnt got nerfed… i guess this is a sight for all thiefs: play p/d … bb gameplay. or switching to turret engis…

(thanks for reminding me of my terrible english and my speling… i know im still learning)

+1, now PROs will come and tell us l2p… but thief is actually broken after this patch
Pre patch there was few weaponsets playable, D/P and S/D and P/D because it’s the most easy weaponset in the whole game.
Post patch weaponsets playable are: ……… P/D. (playable means at the mid level of all classes, so not as hambow, d/d celes ele)
The fact is that in my opinion, (playing thief since launch) thief is the most difficult class to play because of his stupid useless traits (we always use the same traits in every build, like 20% of all of them), we got a branch of utilities that is completely useless and because of our stupid weaponsets combos we can use only berserker or carrion stats (all the others are completely obsolete) and we still get nerfed without any reason and WE CAN’T STILL PLAY THE WAY WE WANT

i play guardian on sharks with lazers and youre completely right s/d thief is completely broken now. it will lose 50% of duels it use to dominate and its impossible for them to kill bunker guards.
steal bug will likely be fixed but atm its useless.

and they obviously what you to go poison dispenser P/P free kill.

new game next week, my whole guild is moving. HF!

i decidet after few soloq matches s/d to create turret engi. no gameplay, epic resuluts. why not. it was always like: gameplay make your thief unbeatable… now its like: no matter gameplay u will lose anyway. ty anet. great job. instand of pushing gameplay rather push non gameplay for brainless people who wanna play brain afk.
