Shadowstep should have never been in the game in it’s current form, it’s the only stunbreak that bugs out and keeps you in knocked state upon use, it’s also the only port that bugs out on midair or certain terrain on top of buggy backports.

Because of how this skill works it needs 2 location reads to work, but if it can’t read the location or the game is to busy with bloblagg it bugs out and on top it can’t stunbreak like other stunbreaks which appears to have the same cause of needing 2 locations.

So why was this skill put in game in in it’s current form, portal obviously doesn’t have this issue, cause it’s different on activation and bypasses terrain.

Sword 2 had a similiar bug regarding this but the stunbreak was removed so that issue is not appearent anymore and they rediverted the change regarding the porting for this.

So why is one of the main oh kitten skills on someone’s bar, put into the game in it’s current bugged form, this skill is supposed to be a lifesaver but lately it’s mostly a lifekiller, duo the state of the skill and this since release, why has this skill still not been hotfixed, or is it perhaps because they can’t do it and don’t know how to fix the 2 location reads without terrain bypass, if that is the case then this skill should have never been in the game to start with.

I’m convinced Anet hired their programmers/code monkeys from some South American Middle school.

Just deal with it I guess, because they dont even know what skills actually do 1/2 the time. All you have to do is look to the in game tooltips to confirm this.

“Deals damage”
“Heals over time”
“in an area”
“has a chance to”
etc….

They never actually supply the value for alot of traits, and some skills, because they don’t know themselves exactly, and if they did give a value and players tested it to show it was wrong then they would have to fix it.
