For tpvp, a good backstab build is this one. Heartseeking from or into black powder will be your way of gaining stealth (or sbow #2 into black powder).

For WvW you could try a d/d build. Here’s one that isn’t full glass. Full credit goes to Mugi. It focuses on high burst damage from backstabs and lots of survivability.

I found that this thread was a good source for tpvp builds. Just be sure that there will probably be a newer one whenever class balancing patches occur.
