Guild Wars 2

Can anyone help me choose a build that’ll help benefit me. I’m looking for a type of build that emphasizes heavily on killing my enemies quickly while sacrificing defense and health. It’d be a plus if someone can incorporate evasion into the build. So basically a glass cannon-type build for a thief.

I also plan on doing a lot of sPvP when I do start PvPing.

At the moment I’m using DD/PP build but I’m open to suggestions and advice.

Also help with:
1. Best healing skill for glass cannon build
2. Best utilities for glass cannon build
3. I hear everyone saying Thieves Guild is the best elite so I’m guessing I should go for that.
4. What traits should I improve on using the trait points?

I’m new to GW2 but not to MMO’s and always loved playing a thief/assassin class the most, and loved being able to kill stuff quickly. Thanks in advance

1. For PvP on a bursty build it is hard to beat HiS’ stealth and burst heal component, although Withdraw is nice if you get locked down. I would not recommend SoM with your build philosophy.
2. Shadow Step is amazing in PvP, as is Shadow Refuge.
3. Depends on your build. Thieves’ Guild is excellent for turning the tide of a small numbers fight, Dagger Storm offers more battlefield control and AE capability, but really needs SoM to shine. Basilisk Venom is the elite of choice for locking down one target for an assassination or if you’re running venom synergy.
4. Depends on your trait lines and build, too general of a question to answer well. I can guess that you’ll probably want to go into Deadly Arts and take Mug for instant Steal damage though.
