I have a human thief character, and I forgot to read the last trainers manual 60 lvl 2 gold one and now I cant get my traits up to major. I’m getting really frustrated I’ve checked the wiki no help there sadly. Is there a way of getting around this or what can I do ? appreciate all your help

You can ask the trainer to retrain your traits, for very cheap, at level 80 its not even 3 silver. See if that works for you.

I’m not sure I follow…can’t you just use the manual now? If you didn’t buy the manual before this one, can’t you just go buy that one?

You can buy the last book and use it any time after you have already readed the other two and have a minimun level of 60. If you already have all prerequisites needed and the book seems to dont work then is a bug and you should reported to Anet.

Like i say, you can read it eny time between level 60 and 80. If you cant is a bug or you have nor readed the second one yet

Try re-reading each of the manuals.

Try posting in the players helping players section. P{layers in other classes might have found a workaround.

I think you mean “master.”

It seems that you’re trying to skip a book. The problem here is that the Level 60 book (2g) is for unlocking Grandmaster traits. You need to purchase and read the Level 40 book (1g) to unlock the Master traits first, then read the GM book.
