Thief Gurus, How Do Thieves Generate Might?
It’s super easy for a thief to self-stack 25 might if you build towards it.
I often use this combo:
Strength Runes
Sigils of Strength (50% chance to gain +1 might, 1s cd)
Might on Dodge (2 points in acro, 1 might) – combine this with the food that gives might on dodge for +2 each dodge
This combo alone is good for 15+ might.
If you went SA instead of Acro, you can hang out in a full duration Shadow Refuge and stack something like 12 might just from that.
Then we also have:
Might on stealth (5 points in SA line, 2 might per tick)
Might on Signet use (2 points in CS, 5 might)
Might on Steal (2 points in Trick, 1 might)
Might from Stealth Trap return (10 might)
Might from venom application (2 points DA, 2 might)
Also, might on weapon swap (sigil, +3 might)
Edit: I know there are many rune sets that give might various ways, but i’d assume str runes are best for dps.
Did I miss any?

If one is just interested in Might Generation, I found Rune of the Aristocracy generates more might then does Rune of Strength. The extra might stacks one gets from the Strength runes are percentage based and premised on getting hit. As one will generally use their heals and NOT want to get hit Aristocracy garners more. This obviously benefits Condition builds more.
This if you use withdraw as your heal specifically. Couple this with Marjories Chili and each withdraw gets you 6 stacks of might which traited will last longer then the 15 seconds to the next withdraw.
In theory using SOM as the heal one can get 11 might stacks on a single use of that heal. (obvious downside here)
Using the Venom heal one can get 8 stacks might using skelk venom.
IF one really wants to maximize this the trait Improv would also increase the sources of might with it having that ability to randomly reset one of the signet/venom/trap sources.
I was playing with this in PVE and using a combination of might on signet use and venoms was able to stack 25 quite easily.
The practicality of this in game terms is a different story.
The other might source from foods is the one PLATE of Roasted cactus.
This causes might on Critical and with a Crit based build very usable as a thief.
Ghost pepper popper can be interesting as well combined with a sigil of strength for the possibility of two might stacks per crit.

You mentioned high-level-content, this post will be pve-based. High level pve content is mostly zerker, so this will be a power-based comparison
Dont forget a few things:
Every traitpoint you will spent in something different than Deadly Arts is a loss of power which has to be compensated if youre aiming for damage.
Lets say you have 5 points in Deadly Arts, leaving traits blank you will gain +250 power and a +10% damage modifier.
Say you spent these points in Shadow Arts for the 2 might (70 power) you do not gain any modifiers. CnD/Backstab rotation costs 4 sec, for 20sec mightx2 (24 with runes) so you will be able to maintain 10 stacks of might (5 backstab rotations).
10 might = 350 power.
Lets fill in Deadly arts traits
50% vuln on crit = ~5 stacks maintained = +5% damage
Dagger training = +10% damage
We can even go for Revealed training for +200 power for 1 autoattack rotation every 4 secs
350 power vs 300 + 10% +10% + 5% + 200/revelead.
Basically what im saying is:
When you go for full power, just go 56xxx or 66xxx, let the might come from your runes/sigil/food and maybe might on dodge/trhill of the crime.
25 stacks might probably looks like a big power boost (which it is!) but you could be lacking damage, just because you skipped the power/damage modifier buffs.
For conditions builds (p/d) 5/6 in shadow arts is OK for might stacking, since in this build you wont gain might from runes/sigils and the powerline wont boost your condition damage much.
Just run with a full berserker group including an elementalist, and shortbow #2 their fire fields before engaging.

Gimme anything you got, sigils/traits/runes/combos/food/etc. I’m starting to pick up high level content on a thief and would like to be able to stack as much might as I can. Thanks in advance guys.
