i never said that, but yes, when you know how to play the game, but of course you don’t, you just use endure pain and hit 2 on your greatsword warrior with any build and hit 50k, you don’t know the word kiting

“Good” is a matter of perspective. In terms of killing efficiency it wasn’t but I and a lot of other players liked it nonetheless because pew pew. No need to be sarcastic.

when thief make a cnd/backstab + AA, in same time, he mades 100k.

I’m going to need a bigger drill to get to the bottom of this salt mine.
Also, P/P is fine, took a 12k unload crit to the face earlier on 3k+ of toughness.
P/P is fine either a Condi loadout or pure power. The issue is not damage the issue is surviving which is NOT related to Ricochet notwithstanding the extra heal one might get from the bounce.
Obviously Condi build with stealth has better survival. P/P using acro is a death sentence. Better off keying up all the damge you can and getting those first hits in a do or die.
It might not be good in PvE but in PvP it rocks. I never used p/p before the patch but I do now, simply because it lets me unload my entire stack of venoms onto the target in a matter of seconds, and with the buff to conditions this does insane damage. I only use the damage dealing venoms (skale, spider and basilisk as elite). This stack ticks the enemy down so fast they often die right away.
I can 1v1 any class except necro and sometimes guardian. I was a real crappy thief before to be honest but now I win almost every game!
the biggest nerf was initiative on crit, 8 hits from unload gives a lot of initiative, now i’m with a stealth build, then i can hide and wait dancing (during the bosses/f* war) my initiative recharge

Pretty much only way P/P could be strong was stacking ini as much as possible for more unloadage because the AA is so weak. Also hard to combo utility like blinding power without insane ini regen~ that trait was really the only thing keeping it afloat. I loved the Ricochet buff and addition of IP cuz it added a nice chunk of survival to the survivalless weaponset. So all P/P is now is in a much much worse place.
p/p is still somewhat viable in pve and also pvp, due to no quarter, the inherent range increase and S/A line revamp. find a way to keep up swiftness and you can make it work with reasonable effort.

I used to think (build op, pls nerf) like you, but then I took a nerf to the knee.
RFI on a cooldown of 48 seconds with trickster traited will replenish that IP missing from the old CS trait line to an extent. While the overall number of unloads drops when compared to using that old trait plus RFI the fact you are pouding out more damage makes up for this to a large extent.
In playing the old set versus single target traitng DA and CS actually pumped out more damage than did traiting for more INI . The larger impct of less INI was of course less abilty to use the other attacks in the weaponset. That said the boosts also make the AA much stronger than it was albeit it still lower then is the AA of other weapon sets.
By the way 8 hits on Crit did not generate a lot of INI. It generated a grant total of one ini. That trait was on a 5 second cooldown meaning if you chained 3 unloads in a row chances were pretty good you only got one INI back.

A lot of you seem to be talking about PvP, when its PvE where the build suffers. Horribly. The removal of Ricochet practically killed it, since with its removal we lost all AoE capability, AoE CC/interrupt/debuff capability and we took a massive hit to our self-healing via Signet of Malice, making it completely useless in the current state of the build. For singletarget the build works fine. For AoE, which 99% of PvE is, its in a terribad condition.
