Hello! This is my next and epic PvP video, part II. This time, contains much more action and precise gameplay than part I. As always, hope you enjoy! Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but I saw nothing but you chasing down people from behind who had no idea you were hitting them, or were too nooby to realize it, and spamming HS and death blossom. I stopped watching after less than two minutes. This video does not display anything about your skills. Sorry to be so hard, but it is not impressive.

Now i don’t agree with auron on any of his other posts and really don’t like him as a gamer but pimpslapper your comment was totally unnecessary. First and foremost he made this video for entertainment, not his skill. Also he used heartseeker correctly 90% of the time. I.E gap closer and execution. This video showcases his video creation and editing skills, which to me are extremely good. I was entertained by this video so i think he did a really good job. A + man.

Now lets see this type of entertainment with another class like Necro or Engi. Videos like this are only done using the stronger class. If your really a skilled player, make one for necro.

I was a bit too harsh, for that I apologize, and you are right, the editing is very good.

What people want to see though,instead of high crit highlights and skill spamming is:

1. What do you do when your CDs are down and you get jumped?
2. Show 1v1s vs skilled opponents, not guys running away, and who are noobs
3. It is ok to die, show that too, just make sure you did your best before you died.
4. 1v2? 2v1? Show us how you cheat death every time you PvP…
5. Show us how you cap points when there are four guys standing on it…trebuchet and its user, etc…
6. How did you just humiliate somebody who got the jump on you?
7. Show us how you rallied back to life as you killed somebody who put you in the downed state by throwing your daggers while crying for help.

That kind of kitten sells…

Well the goal of the thief is to kill, doesnt matter how he does it, just that he does. I dont descriminate on my thief who I kill, if my cds are up, if they are good, if they are running or low on health, I just kill. Gj with the vid man.

but srsly, this movie shows exactly how little skill thiefs need to do well in pvp. he even manages with clicking and keyboardturning.

anyways i like the idea of pvp movies, so keep it up.

Ok, I too watched the whole thing and ended up wondering why you bothered to make this video. It shows nothing unique or interesting. All the footage is just completely average and some clips seem to be the exact opposite of impressive.

I mean you have clips there of you plus another player ganking a single Necromancer. What’s impressive about that? Why would anybody want to see such a clip?

Then there’s the clicking and keyboard turning which is just embarrassing for a PvP movie. Fair or not, but nobody takes clickers seriously (even if you’re just a half-clicker). Character movement too was bad overall, with seemingly random movement choices that didn’t follow any logic.

And a 100 second intro…really?

Next time make sure you have something worth showing before making a movie.

I don’t know why people are calling me a clicker, at times it’s easier to do as I have a customized gaming mouse with Hotkeys on it, so while preparing buffs through those hotkeys I can click anything else that needs to be done while strafing. Not going to restrict myself because ‘others’ think ‘clicking’ is against PvP rules.

As for others, yes some people are suggesting I should try with another class, one of the underplayed ones which could interest other people in that area, so I might do so in the future.

I think it was fine for a montage video. Nothing terribly impressive about the game play or play style shown here despite what skill you may have. Basically it seems to show the power of the thief against people who run away or are just slow to respond.

I encounter a lot of those guys, sure, but I would much rather see people of relatively close skill levels fighting than you just destroying people who don’t know what to do against a thief.

Video quality was good but the content was kind of ‘meh’

Neat vid. What do you use for your (multiple) intros? Aftereffects?

If your making a montage, it should be with amazing scenes, and you doing some “impossible” feats, or atleast very close fights.

But as allready mentioned most of your footage are ppl running away, or beeing way below avg. ppls problem with this is that they can see that after 2 mins of playing the class themself.

Think of it as renting a movie, who in their right mind rents a movie about a guy going to work, fetching coffee etc.

Editing was decent, and quality was good, but ye content was lacking. I hope this does not discourage you from making future movies, but rather encourage you to be alot more picky about the content you present.

Otherwise ppl usually enjoy just watching pure cuts from tPvP including VOIP, pref vs good teams, so they can get a sense of teamwork, and see how well you fill the roll you are given.

I hope you can use some of this, as its purely meant for constructiv critisism.

Your playstyle is really common and a bit funny….
You use HS to chase ppl because you jump forward to the target hahah i laughed.

Video editing
A little bit amateur to call it ‘epic’.
The beginning is really cool congrats man.
But i’m sorry again because the only thin i see the rest of the movie is just cutted as raw as it was.
So simple no effects nothing at all…
No effects that can be connected with the music.(For example pulsing).
Slow-mo at big crits okay you got it man but you can confess that this isn’t a big job to do.
More effects can be used for example: Shake Pulse etc
Screen shatter instead of raw cutting
When the music slows down you can for example use white/black effect and then when it again in normal speed or incrased just switch back.
Zooming in than out.

All you need is some creativity. I beleive you got it but you must use it to make a real ‘epic movie’
Choose you music wisely that fits to the movie.

If you really want to make a good movie remember theese:

Creative editing.
Music that fits to the editing and to the style of the movie.
You capture actions that shows off your skill and not only spamming the same combo all the time. Okay use it for 1-2 times but not always. If we want to see the same we got a replay buttom but if really want to show us how professional are you then do it in the right way and do not repeat yourself.
Forexample record when you got a situation 2v1 and you win or something your call not mine but i just want to help.

Okay then all the haters can come now and i will feed them.
You can say that i’m jealous. I’m lame or anything else.
or…
If i don’t like it make better.

I’d say okay then give me a i5 and a gtx 660Ti or HD 7850 and That’s the deal.(don’t forget the 8GB rams and the SSD)

The only reason i don’t make video is that i can’t record.
I have a bit aged PC and i can run the game sweet but if i want to record it dies.
I use fraps and got abaout 15-20FPS when recording at low settin with Native rendering.
So no i am not jealous of anything i’m just poor.

BE MORE MODEST
Don’t call your movie EPIC Awesome or things like that.
You seem a little boastful.

How does this video have high crits? Backstabs for 7k? I Unload for more than that on some people.

Btw you may try to heal not by clicking with the mouse.

Good production quality and editing. Average skill level. There were a couple “oh, that was good” moments, But most of the time I saw an average Backstab player. I know you were only rank 11 when you made this video (we all probably sucked at rank 11) but next time, show some 1v1 and some close wins/defeats. It’s okay to die. Last comment: that intro was REALLY long. Keep it at about 10 seconds or so.
