Mine is the shortest and least muscular build they had, as well as having no hairstyle to speak of. Because why should you be tall if you need to sneak into small places, why should you be muscular if you need 1 hit to kill, and why have a hairstyle when you’re masked and hooded all the time? ;-)

For me it was the other way around. I decided to be a human, then decided to be a thief. First character, main character, never looked back at my choice.

Charr because there are already enough female humans with the black sideboob armor. Yeah, I know it looks nice but I don’t want my char to look like everyone else.^^

The male Charr voice sounds awesome too.

t3 human female so that I could show the world that underboob was overrated. Ultimately I migrated to underboob.

I have an asuran female thief with a white ponytail and CoE/t3 armor. Its especially cool with s/d or s/p cus youre just this little blur rolling and jumping around. And if you go for a stealth build its really hard for people to see you right after you get revealed after a backstab. (Unless theyre good and tab target)

I started an Asura thief because all of my characters end up Asura but I took a look at The Dreamer preview and was disappointed with how much it clips everything. It looks so much better on a human it’s not funny…and yes, I want the stupid unicorn pony bow so I switched it over to a human. Figured if I was going to go through the effort of making the stupid legendary it should be on a character I can really see it

Human – because there are no elves or dark elves in gw2, and sylvari looks like a tree.

Like most others, I have a human thief, ’cause underboob.

Got 2 thieves.
- Human male, never been a fan of beast races. I usually prefer Elves or Demonic inspired humans in fantasy.
- Norn female, she’s P/D and I felt norn female would fit in well in some sort of western theme.

Human, I feel more connected to a human character lol. I’ve always regret not picking Asuran for my thief though. If you’re any good with CnD, you’re basically a god.. (+ animations are much harder to read because you’re so small, same goes for you though)
