Shadow Trap is an excellent skill, however, the cast time on ‘destroy shadow trap’ is 1.5 sec. Pretty long for a stunbreak, especially in pvp. Could we get this cut down or squeeel made instant?

I’d personally love if they made it so all break stun moves are instant if they break stun, but I have a feeling that’d cause too much chaos.

I don’t think the 1,5 sec cast time is an issue. For me the huge problem is mechanic of breaking the shadow trap. It littelary says Teleport to original location. But it acts like shadow step (walking) and not as a teleport. You must be in direct sight with original location otherwise you get stuck by even small rock.

While the 1.5 second seems overly long the biggest issue is it not a port. In WvW I have some clearly defined areas where this will work as intended but if I shift slightly in positioning on the map in a battle and try it I am very often blocked. It hard to use at distance which is one of its greatest attributes.

If it changed to a port I can live with the 1.5 seconds. if it remains a step as is than the time to rcast the response to the trap triggered should be instant.
