Im going to lvl up my thief.
I need a good build for roaming with a high amount of vitality and armor.
Btw exotic not ascended

I will play d/p and d/d

The thing with power builds is that they’re flexible depending on the traits you’re running and your playstyle

I’d suggest getting your goals clear. How much Critical chance do you want? How much critical damage do you want? How much vitality do you want?
Those are the first questions you got to ask yourself, then build around that.

Armor min 2500
Crit chance min 30%
Vitality – i dont know i have a guard stacks on WvW so around 17k total should be fine

Classic prepatch 2/6/6/0/0 build.

Use valk for head chest legs and rest zerker. Trinkets use mix of zerker/zerker + valk/2 cavaliers.

U should have 2500ish armor with 40% crit chance and around 215-220% crit dmg.

Works with both dd and dp.

With full stacks you should sit at around 17k hp

Can’t really say much about D/P and D/D builds as I prefer active defenses from S/D… I’d rather run full berserker. Now of course D/D doesn’t enjoy the active protection of S/D build, but if I’d go ahead and put on some bulk, it would be generic soldier pieces for a little toughness and vitality. If you go 1 Soldier piece and 1 Berserker instead of 1 valk and 1 cavalier, you’ll have same power, a little more precision and a little less critical damage, which is by no doubts a good thing after April 15th.
