I figure if we pretend we’re sympathetic people will stop calling the nerf card on us -ahem- :
-I’m sorry I ran away from the fight, my health was low and shadowstep was the only utility I had left, there was no way I could have won, running makes me angry too

-I’m sorry I went full glass that game of PvP, I don’t have the durability nor time for a prolonged fight

-I’m sorry I ganked you in Obsidian Sanctum by downing you and throwing your torch off of the scaffolding, I was scared you were going to do the same to me

-I’m sorry i laughed at your corpse after I killed you in WvW, the other thieves were watching and I wanted to look tough for them

-I’m sorry I took your supply camp, my mates were getting awfully cold in our BL so I wanted some firewood to keep them warm

-I’m sorry I abused stealth, I get rather lonely since no one likes me for who I am so playing hide and seek is very fun

I’m sorry that backstab has a slightly lower multiplier than a level 2 eviscerate

I’m sorry for being a perma-stealthing, backstabbing noob while using S/D

- I’m sorry that we can’t affort to stay in melee range and must rely on hit and run.
- I’m sorry that we can’t affort to be locked down.
- I’m sorry that stealth builds became less viable in sPvP and we are forced to play perma dodge S/D or S/P.
- I’m sorry that we have spammable leap and blast finisher and a smoke field.
- I’m sorry for all the staff elementalists, mesmers, rangers and warriors who have been too glassy, how can I ever forgive myself for this.
- I’m sorry that it just takes 2 mistakes and sometimes even 1 and I die and I’m sorry for trying to be perfect and accepted by the world by not making mistakes, but it seems to have the opposite effect.
- I’m sorry for loving this class.
- I’m also sorry for being able to counter downed skills.
- And I’m sorry for trolling groups and zergs a lot, using mobility/stealth builds with low damage.

I’m sorry I spammed 2, you were at 5% hp and I wanted to close the gap and finish the job.

I may as well say it, before TeamBattleAxe (at least the first two points…):

I’m sorry I killed you – while visible – with Unload.
I’m sorry you couldn’t dodge your own reflected shots, while I did my Sexy Thief Dance™.
I’m sorry I kept dodging and such. I have minimal Stability
I’m also sorry about all the Shadowsteps, I’m a very busy Asura.

I’m sorry, but this is the only thing funny in this thread. Just lol. Sadly this is pretty much the average thief opinion.

You can also throw siege onto the walls of enemy towers/keeps from outside.
