I thought a bit about thief in stronghold. I couldn’t find objective reason(s) why anyone would pick thief.

Mesmer/Engineer can apply stealth better.

Anyone can think of a role thief can play at stronghold? How bad do you think will thief perform @ stronghold?

It wont, class is a bad feeder at this point. Though guess if you want to sink your own team then go for it

supplies runner (in a more constant way than portal mesmer )? guards assassin ? harass other supplies runner ? support with venom share during middle/mist hero team fights?

I guess we will find a place, even if it’s a small one.

a question while we are speaking of thief on stronghold : Am I the only one with steal/shortbow pathfinding problems in the supply area ? The round wooden area is on a different level compared to the ground…it’s so anoying.

Hm, I don’t think thief’s burst damage is good enough for killing guards and boss. Sustained DPS from condi mes, reaper, ele (for example) should be much better.

I’m sorry, I forgot there will be OP specialisations all over the place…

I really don’t know what is left for us ( i just saw the druid spec, even smokescale pet will be a pain to deal with).

If at least we could carry bombs, we would be able to be NPC.
