The slow duration from thief essence sap is waaaaaay too long. It should last for 1s per essence sap but now thief can apply at least 7s of slow which is way too much and cripples especially revenant since skills are still bugging on revenant during slow.

Edit: Wiki says that duration is 1s.

You cant nerf somethings just because that cause a bug on something else.. Fix the bug, Then if it still broken, most of the case is not, Then nerf.

Sorry the post was a bit unclear. Now if i am not mistaken the duration of slow should be 1s according to gw2 wiki.

That is esence sap from revenant downed skill (1s slow). The stolen skill https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Essence_Sap_
is supposed to have longer slow. Check Roy’s past post. I think it was him who posted this. Wiki is incomplete an inaccurate atm.

As example of incompleteness of wiki https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Essence_Sap doesn’t even have damage at the time of this post. In game it does.

Anyway slow is a condition. Use condition removal to counter this.

try clearing condi’s as a rev.

You are complaining in the wrong forum. Rev/Herald is still tuned pretty high compared to thief.

And stolen skills don’t really measure up to other class’ mechanics.
