Is there a way to get my helmet look like the Anonymity hood ?

As long as the character that you want to transfer it to wears medium armour, yup, and it’s very easy, all you need is an empty character slot and you can do it in less than 10 minutes!

1. Create a new Thief, make sure that you chose “Anonymity” for the hood.
2. Transmute the Anonymity Hood into a WHITE or BLUE item (IMPORTANT).
3. Put the new “Account Bound” Anonymity Hood into your bank.
4. Take it out on your other character and equip it (if it asks to soulbind, hit yes).
5. Enjoy your new hood!

the inquest hood from CoE looks pretty cool, its a hood with a scorpian-type mask

Maybe it is because it is (arguably) the only good looking hood and some people hate to run around with a mask.

Well you could use… a hat! Or nothing! You tend to be jaded after witnessing the existance of more than three thousands Altair clones or ‘kitten and dark’ versions of it. That’s only me though.

Medium armor in general is lacking for thieves, The starter headgear headband and hood are two of the best medium armor headpieces in game imo. Only one I found through I actually liked enough to use was the Sylvari T2 hood.

With the help of the golem banker I deleted and remade several Thieves to transmute a handfull of headbands and hoods onto tradable whites for whenever I’d need another in future. :s

Transforming your character into some psychopath disguised like a christmas tree slaughtering people in the streets? You deserve to be dismembered and slaughtered.

ok. I tried it and the hood was already sound bound to the mock theif I made. Was it nerf in the last update?

Really dude? it’s a bloody game. And besides, teh Creed fights for the good guys and freedom from opression and conrol of over-powered goverments and trirants. So there. :P

Make sure you choose just the skin to transmute and the other items stats. If you accidentally chose the hood’s stats, it will still be soulbound (I lost 80s learning the hard way that I cannot transmute norn racial for the stats onto an item since it retains the norn only status).

Done this twice and I’m sure I did it under 10 mins. when I get the hood on the mock character, it’s already soulbound, not account bound. I’m very sad about this. I really wanted my hood back but I don’t want to remake my high lul thief.

Two reasons, mainly.

1. Not everyone likes Ranger Masks. Unfortunately Anet added little variety for medium armor head pieces; totally neglecting GW1 Assassins. The Majority of them are Ranger Masks. They didn’t even add Assassin style masks, just pure ranger here, there, EVERYWHERE.

2. Assassins Creed established that to the world that Assassins in hoods = cool.

The Starter Hood and Headband are 2 of the best head piece skins for Thief. I have my bank fulla tranny’d ones in case I need in future.

Did you buy the white item from the TP? You need to make sure it’s tradable (the ones from NPC aren’t). Don’t try blue simply cuz I’m not sure it works so why bother, just use white.

When you transmute make sure you pick the skin you want and select the stats of the white item.

While the Hood is named “Anonymity Hood” the Bio choice is Subterfuge. Anonymity gives the arabic looking mask.
