Give us a hollow melee staff! The reason for the hollow part: it is a trick of the ninja trade. By flicking the bow with great speed, the ninja could launch a poison tipped dart or small knife out of the open end of the staff, often catching the opponent off guard.

You also have the NAGINATA (google it), which is basically a staff with a knife attached to the end of it.

It would maybe be a more defensive weapon set, since we don’t have any. With blocks, parries and cc.

I think it will be worse than now if anet would add new weapon for thief!

One more , I suppose it will never be!

I can think of 5 other weapons that make more sense than Greatswords for Thieves.

I can think of 1 class that already has Greatsword, but also dual weilding Swords, that makes no sense. A thief would make more sense then this class to have both those options.

I’d think a thief with a GS would be more…. Devil May Cry than the warrior’s Dynasty Warriors.

The over-the-top and ridiculously flashy way that Dante uses his greatsword would be pretty perfect for a thief actually.

Either that or a 3 piece staff. Anything that means I can fight like Ikkaku Madarame is a win in my book.
