Thief outdps warrior!
They both have balanced DPS and Cond. Neither thief nor warrior has better damage or better condition. The person playing may have a better playstyle or better personal setup. All classes are even in some way or another. Besides, can a thief hit 20k’s with a single shot? no. Can a warrior go invisible and hit 9k stealth and regen to full health, rinse repeat for an entire fight? no.
I’ll suck volcanus for stability.

Yes we can
But I would not call it “shot” use the word “heartseeker” or “backstab” pls
What?! Thief can do more damage than Warrior?!!
you make me laugh
There is a difference between damage and damage per second. Yes thief can hit 10k with one strike, but a warrior can out dps a thief over time.

If you compare DPS, Warrior is far away from thief
If you compare single hit damage, don’t forget Warrior’s Rife F1
What we have is nerfed stealth and nerfed Shadow Step/Return

thief can hit 20k with one strike and no…. our single target dps is higher.
You shouldn’t deny just because you are not able to reach it
If you want to know who has more DPS my best suggestion is as follows:
1. Find a place/site that tracks and rewards speed kills
2. Look at the results
In my experiences I usually see warriors and thieves in the top 5-10 slots with thieves winning the dps challenges.
and refuses to spare the life in return for the surrender at discretion (unconditional surrender)
of a vanquished opponent.
Tested with PVP Golem

First off I used 10k as an example. Ad hominem only makes your argument look bad.
Secondly, unless we are specifically talking about single target dps, in which i am also talking about group dps, then yeah I would agree with you even though its a slight margin. If a thief decided to go the high burst route and failed their burst, they could stick around and attempt to finish off their target and risk getting killed in the process or they could run. Either way their DPS will not compare unless they manage do get stacked on might. Getting high numbers still require some luck so they are not that great of an example.
Conditioning is another story. If a thief specs for high condition damage and effectively lays down conditions, then a thief could out DPS anyone. You still have to factor in if the group will remain tight or spread out, condition removal capabilities of the enemy and the skill level of the players. Conditioning is effective for DPS but its still circumstantial. Not a good example either.
DPS is best earned through open fighting where damage is constantly calculated from both sides, not pick-and-choose fighting.
I have seen a lot which think warrior has higher dps than thief, that is WRONG, meanwhile warrior can hit more at the time, means they clear out group fastest.
Lies and propaganda!
Oh no, not this again…
If you compare one Warrior with one Thief, Warrior will out-DPS the Thief. But when you are part of a group where everyone gets 25 might, and fury, the Thief wins against one target. His “burst” has 4 sec cooldown.
@TsukiNoEi: Nice picture. What has that got to do with the subject?
