Thief tpvp/Hotjoin build...
Old D/P 26006 is still great, there’s a built-in 2 second quickness.
Panic Strike D/P 60206 deals a noticibly less amount of damage than Classic though. The immob does help, I agree, but I recommend Pack Runes and some QoL adjustments to the sigils… also, with Pack you wouldn’t need Furious Retaliation at all. You already have Fury from Steal, which is on-demand anyway. Improvisation can make a good deal of difference if it recharges your Deception skills, so try that too.
Devourer can be switched for more escape utilities, like the classic 3 of SR/SoInfil/SStp

Just want to point out that it’s not the only effective build (only in my opinion) – but it could be, to you; we all have different playstyles.
Carrying enemy team since 2012

I used to rube the 6 cs 6 tricker and yes it’s more dps on a backstab or if you can stay on a target… But perma immob someone without a clear and they are done. Other thieves are lol when withdraw is down.
Less dos but more effective imo. I feel like I don’t need swift. I use sb for mobility and my opponents are usually immob so no need to chase.
Honestly I just wanted something diff than regular trickery/cs build… It’s fun. Been playing trickery/cs build since they buff sleight of hand. Imo trickery is must in any build except an sa build…
Critical Strikes is a thief slayer imo. Executioner and a lucky haste proc is usually and insta down compared to panic strike ^^ PS have far more survivability though.
I’ve run both and each is fun.
When Panic kicks in though you can literally feel the wtf scream through the monitor
I’ve actually had quite a few hotjoiners /say wtf…
It’s lol
