Thieves Guild in PvP
Lyssa has fallen out of usage in high-end play. It’s just not worth it anymore. Hence, BV isn’t as advantageous as it used to be. Both TG and DS have seen uses.

Thieves Guild is great in small fight settings. One of the thief does black powder while the other does scorpion wire. They also survive pretty well for the full 30 seconds as bait. I don’t know about going full burst in PvP though.
BV with Krait Runes is the new jazz. Meshes so well on a condi build.

Full burst hasn’t been a problem so far. I usually just hit and run, because I normally just finish off someone, to give us the numbers advantage, and then I’m on my way to far for decap :p
Yeah, since the nerf to Lyssa’s I decided to swap to the new and improved Strength runes. Having lost the #6 bonus of Lyssa, I saw no real need for BV so I swapped it for TG. It works real good as an opener, allowing me to win nearly every 1v1 encounter, so I can either decap far at the beginning of the match or eliminate the enemy treb, other key locations etc.. It also works wonders in small scale, if not hit by the aoe bomb. Overall, my burst has risen drastically, while I have only lost a little survivability at the loss of Lyssa’s. I run the usual 2/6/0/0/6 trickery S/P build, so I would most likely be dead if hit by a condi bomb anyways, since most of the survivability comes from not simply being hit.
TL;DR – Without lyssa’s, TG>BV imo.
