5-2-2-2-1 is an obsolete rotation that will leave you with an initiative net loss like it says in the guide. This needs to be updated to reflect this change.

Suggestion:
Pre-cast Blinding Powder (5) → Steal (F1) → HS (2) → Backstab (1)

Funny thing about the leap combo finisher, it only applies at the end of the skill animation, thus you’ll hit with HS before going into stealth, so don’t worry about getting revealed with HS using this combo.

The reason for pre-casting BP before Steal is so it will land next to your target leaving them blinded, then you go on stealth already next to them for a quick BS. Even if they dodge roll, HS will make sure they’re not too far away when you go in stealth.

The build is solid enough that you can practically do what ever you want with it.

Personally, extending the stealth has little value to me. I only go in stealth to access Sneak attack so there’s no reason for me to stay in stealth longer than 3s, so I normally will spec more on Acrobatics than in Shadow Arts.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I’m aware that doing 3 HS through blinding powder is no longer necessary best, to just use it once and go straight in for the BS, or like the suggestion you have mentioned.

I believe this build is the updated version, but yeah i may play around with it, in regards to the sigils, runes etc, what are your thoughts on them, the previous version was bloodlust + fire, on dagger/pistol, but this one now seems to be +5% dmg and fire. previous runes on armor were ruby orbs, but are now ogre, i suppose this is all because of the new changes with ferocity and what not, i stuck fire sigil on 2nd slot on bow, but may change it out for energy, as it does make sense, for escaping, giving you an extra dodge.

to be fair i was getting on really well with the shadow arts traits, but i might give acrobatics a play with as well, what would you suggest to use for major trait slots?

Personally, I would go for Might stacks on sigils so it will be Sigil of Strength and Battle for me. And for the off-set I’ll go with Bloodlust and Battle.

The Rock Dog from Ogre is a nice surprise attack for roamer since it’s a guarantee to tip the balance to your favor. However, looking at that build, you’re going to be a little too low on the Toughness and Vitality part and if this type of risk is not your type of play style, you may want to change it to make you a little beef-ier.

Personally, I’m ok with that much Toughness and Vitality so I would pick Rune of Strength for a lot of burst damage which also compliments my Sigil picks.

It’s a personal preference. However with 6pts in Acro, it compliments my choices on Sigils and Runes to have a longer lasting might stacks and I can still benefit from Shadow’s Embrace by putting 2 pts into SA.

I’m making a number comparison and I noticed that build has some wrong stats number. For example, 833 Ferocity =/= 85% Critical damage — more like 56%.

So I don’t know how accurate the rest of the numbers are.
