That revealed debuff its 900 range, 6 sec duration with 20 sec cd . . . lol . .

Time to learn anything but thief (if you don’t know the others already).

If the last 3 years wasn’t enough of an indication that ANet doesn’t know what to do with thief, nor do they care; then, these e-spec reveals (including DD) should have been enough.

I’m laughing at this, now I’m excited for druid as long as it is not “he who knows his name” they are doing it right. lulz. I might retire my thief from WvW as well if that mentality continues.

AHHAH yes, anything other than thief at this point

ya thief is at bottom of food chain dont think druid can be worse. Staff just confirmed it even more with bunch of useless skills only work against npc.

You mean druid staff? At this point druid seems worthy to be hyped for.

I think most of these revealed skills are meant as a counter to Mesmer’s OPness… Anet just seems to forget that Thief exists and is not as OP as a Mesmer…

Also, all this reveal is the worst counterplay idea I’ve ever seen. I mean yeah, make it let us pop out of stealth to reduce the stealth spamming, but reduce the amount of skills in total.
With changes to all the Stealth traits to On First Second in Stealth or On First Second in Reveal, to target Stealth camping (= more aggressive gameplay is rewarded), that would be enough counterplay.

Make the out-of-stealth-skills have a cast time that you can dodge though, to encourage more skillful play (or tactical use by stealthing before using the skill).

But like this I’m just thankful that as soon as HoT hits, I’m gonna try Daredevil on a S/D Build which only got access to stealth via C&D… and if that is unviable Herald (Revenant Elite Spec), Shatter or Interrupt Mesmer and Meditation Guard seem nice

I’m really less concerned about Engis being able to negate Thief stealth whenever they feel like it, and more concerned that they can apparently stealth for 30 seconds whenever they like, on a 30 second CD?

Funny story they are the ones who buffed PU I am in tearz lulz. Now I can see the team effort in their balance don’t forget more “healthy counters” will come eventually. 3 more years to go but I’m already mostly on other classes anyway.

Time to learn how to mesmer I guess.

I like the chronomancer quite a bit. I don’t think it’s the strongest specialization but better than some of the others for sure. Not sure how Engi is gunna be but…. from what I’ve played of chronomancer, I would choose it.

When you hang onto your class because you can move across the map (ala Mesmer portal) or group stealth your team (ala Scrapper gyro). But never was it imagined that we’d lose both so effectively. No longer valued in dungeons or mid tier pvp (let alone high). I need to find that video of the spanish gentleman who is missing teeth laughing in hysterics about the state of something. Last time I saw it was on LoL for Kalista’s release (which was accurate and hilarious). Anyone good with video edit?
