I fixed his link for ya. I don’t know anything about D/D so I can’t help ya :c
Well maybe the weapon choice doesn’t fit much the build .And you should always have a ranged weapon whit you.Short bow is great for condition build and also great mobility.
As for D/D in my oppinion a stealthy approach is better.Signet of malice heal isn’t realy appropriate for a close combat aproach as the thief is rather squishy.Signet of malice goes way better whit pistols instead.
This is what I use for my D/D Condition Thief.

You get acces to a **** load of initiative as each stealth gives you 2 initiative so you can spam Death Blossom over and over again.Shadow Refuge also heals you and restores your initiative completly so you’re never likely to run out of initiative.Stealth skills also give you blinds , heal and what better defence is there than being freakin invisible:PAnd also the numerous Back Stab’s for aditional raw damage.
SoM is by far the best hps skill thieves have access to. Conditions thieves use multi hit attacks such as DB, shattered Cluster Bomb, Caltrops, Choking Gas. Each single hit/pulse procs SoM. The active heal is slightly lower than Withdraw and has base CD of 15 secs which can be reduced to 12s.
If you got enough options to stealth and if you don’t need/want the condition removal, SoM is the healing skill of choice for a condition thief.
I wouldn’t say by far.Depends what you preffer and what build you’re running. But as a thief its preffereble not to let yourself open.In pvm some situations may work better but I would never trade Hide in Shadows for Signet of Malice whit my build.
Edit:Sorry I thought you meant heal.Yes it heals more but letting yourself open to atacks you expose yourself to a lot more damage aswell .
