Hello.

I’ve noticed a lot of players dodging over my traps when I prepare them in the middle of a point. So are thief traps in comparison to ranger traps really visible?
Then what’s the point of having visible traps? Isn’t it like Necro Staff fields then, just much more underwhelming?

I need somebody to confirm this, because I’ve been having fun with traps in PvP and it certainly is much more fun than d/p blind/stealth spamming.

Unless there is a bug I’m not aware of, traps cannot be seen by other players.
However, enemy players have brains, and can use them to predict things, such as that a trap thief has already lay his traps on point. Also, they might actually see you place them by your animations. Since traps only appear at your feet, if you see a thief placing traps, well you know exactly where they are.
