Trickery in WvW
I can’t live without Trickery when I play thief anymore.
WvW, PvE, PvP… doesn’t matter: wherever I go, my build always has 6 points in Trickery and 2 points in Deadly Arts (for Mug).

Honestly, not running Critical Strikes in WvW isn’t that bad. The huge amount of stats you can get from gear alone makes up for it. That being said, you can run 2/6/0/0/6, you just need to play more carefully than if you were 6 in Shadow Arts. The first build you linked is great for running around solo and trying to take on multiple people, and can be used with s/d as well if you happen to like that set.
Personally I’ve been running with 6/0/2/0/6 as of late, Panic Strike is pretty fun in WvW and the 10 in SA helps against condi builds.

Trickery has been the thief’s most OP trait line for quite some time now.
It’s OP with certain Trait combinations and sets, but I don’t think it is when running D/P 2/6/0/0/6.
Plays completely opposite professions to his main Teef.

I normally run 2/6/0/0/6 or 0/6/0/2/6.
Main points are either mug/vigor on heal, and crit from stealth (though exe is viable if you build glassy enough), daze on steal, and bountiful.
I use daggerx2. Traveler’s runes still baby. I keep withdraw and shadowstep, other 2 are really interchangeable based on preference. I normally keep BP and Scorpion Wire.
Offhand either goes to shortbow or p/d. fun stuff.
