Turn flanking strike into a counter
As much as I like Flanking Strike already, this could be an interesting twist on it. However, it then forces the thief to be attacked so they can use the rest of the move. So it becomes harder to use on a target that’s already focused on someone else.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
If it has the same animation/behavior though, it’ll make it worthless against ranged chars. In fact, if a ranged person shoots you while you’re standing on a ledge, then you may have just auto-killed yourself…
tru but there are many attacks right now that if you do them near a ledge ull kill urself eve FS in thet state the it is right now you just have to learn to use it at the right time
My point though, is that you won’t be killing yourself – the enemy will be helping you kill yourself by using an attack on you while under the effect of a skill that wants to kill you
Not a bad change actually. Heck if they gave it some range it’d flat out be the bane of ranged fighters.
