It does have music, the actual game music. :P It’s just not lame dubstep or other crap music people put over their videos nowadays. I like it better that way. .-.

It’s a nice vid and good gameplay… but also a textbook example of why perplexity runes are overpowered.

It feels like every P/D video is the same since that Wild Bill guy made the build popular.

I know it’s effective, but honestly it’s also incredibly cheesy and boring.

But what ultimately stopped me from playing it myself is that I couldn’t stop people from rezzing each other constantly.

The part of perlpexity runes people have been callling op is the ability to coz 5 stacks of confusion on interrupt with no icd. The build I used in the video has no access to any cc so it can not make use of that function.

I liked this video much better than most of the Wild Bill vids. It wasn’t as boring imo… and the perplexity runes weren’t being abused, so I didn’t mind them.

Edit: WOW, these filters are ridiculous. You can’t even type “less” “boring”….

All I saw was a bunch of bad players that had no idea how to counter a thief. Even the thief couldn’t counter the thief. The whole time I was watching that was, Vince, you are so lucky X class didn’t do this.

A good gameplay video against the lowest common denominator in WvW. Newbies.

p.s. If you are in this video getting stomped and QQ that stealth is broken, I can easily name off so many counters. This is a L2P issue for you HoD’s.

IDK if you don’t understand how the runes work or if you just don’t play thieves or what.

Please go to the wiki and read what those runes do when the site comes back up.

Now try and recall what weapon setup he had…. I’ll help you out. P/D. No where close to a text book example.

only against no so good players any class(with the right build) that understands how and pd thiefs works can quite easily shut him down(main tip deny cloak an dagger via blind, block, and cc).

Also this thief spec is not the high burst perma stealth spec that receives all the qq.

Well I know that my D/P set hard-counters any P/D Thief.

But even I’d have a hard time dealing with one if I had half a dozen people running around me trying to do the same.

Denying Cloak and Dagger isn’t easy with so many potential targets.

Like it or not, P/D is an extremely “low-risk” build, easy to play and not that easy to counter. It is durable and cleanses Conditons constantly while healing itself passively.

Farming a bunch of uncoordinated and inexperienced players with it over a period of 10 minutes isn’t exactly a feat to be proud of in my book.

That exactly what I was thinking as I was rewatching the video.

LOL. I can’t believe non of those guys used their stealth detect weapon, utility, or elite skills.
