Using one weapon by itself
I think that using one handed weapons by themselves in your main hand should have better 3 skills (for those ppl that like doing this). Currently Im making a Destiny Hunter class/ Blade Dancer subclass cosplay, meaning a whole armor look and using the Corrupted Dagger skin for the blade. But in order to make it look legit i have to use one dagger and short bow. I have noticed how the 3 skill for only main hand dagger is not really good at all.
Im wondering if the Dev team can change the 3 skills and make them better for those ppl that wan t to be different and have the availability to try out a more variety of different things.

I’ve used a single dagger in my second weapon set before. All I wanted was the auto-attack and the gap-closer on dagger 2. For example you could camp on Pistol/Pistol but switch to dagger for a sneak attack and then auto attack.
The #3 skill always sucks when you only have a single weapon equipped, the devs obviously designed it that way.
There is no real advantage to equipping a single weapon but it doesn’t necessarily hold you back either, depending on what you need that weapon for.
I have a sword, a dagger, and an estimated life span of 2.47 seconds.

Well then you do realize that u only use two out of three skills, to add more fun to the game/experience i would suggest making the 3 skill good

The ‘’only mh sword 3’’ skill is actualy the sword 3… that gets transformed by dual weilding something.

Yes that is true, but i still believe that it should be changed to be more fun, even if they wanted it that way it doesn’t allow much more build flexibility as it would if it could work as a standalone

The one I saw was before the trait and Elite changes. The build used condi, caltrops on dodge, the acrobatics line before it sucked and shortbow poison before it revealed to annihilate opponents.
It could still be done today but not nearly as effective.

Your build is straight all dah HAM, go big or go broke type of build
There isn’t really any advantage to one-weapon builds. Originally they existed to give you a Weapon 3 with thieves before you got your offhand, and they always seem weak.

I know that but its supposed to be a nice challenging fun thing, which it is but its not as much as it could be if the three skill was changed. of course dual wield will be what ante wanted, but we still need some other option of weapon combos because we use s/d d/d and d/p A LOT and it gets boring sometimes.
