I have a complete ascended set of gear for my thief but I took a year off from the game and have been play for the last month. So, with all the changes should I change my gear?

Weapons/back/access – berserker
Armor – Valkyrie

Should I re-roll that gear into Marauder?

I preferred zerk armor and valk chest and zerk/valk asc trinkets for 15k~ hp.
But I since changed all my stuff to Viper+Carrion cuz I got bored.

I do have an exotic Dire/condi set I run but i was just wondering about direct DPS.

A combination of ’zerker and valk is better than marauder. Marauder has too much allocation on precision that is useless if your power and crit damage are low.

For WvW? Marauders armor, zerker trinkets. Marauder gives more stat gain than the 3 stat zerker / valkarie pieces. You can replace some zeker with valkarie if you want even more vitality. Personally I go full zerk in PvE.

Weapons – Marauder (Power Infusions)
Armor – Marauder (Vitality Infusions)
Amulet – Marauder (Power Infusion)
Other Trinkets – Berserker (Power/Vitality Infusions)
Runes – Scholar or other preference
Main Weapons – Air/Blood Sigils
Shortbow – Energy/Bloodlust

It depends on what you want to aim for when it comes to your prefered min/max stats. A mix of all, valk marurder and zerker are good if they are mixed around

I go for Marauder armor + Marauder Weapon (if possible) and rest berserk.
Marauder has overall more stats which is nice. I have approx. 15k life and slightly over 50% crit unbuffed so i don’t see any stats wasted, thus it’s better than a combination of valk + berserk.
