Guild Wars 2

Hi so the leeching venoms trait makes us (and everyone we give the venom to) leech life from our foes. So it does regular damage and heals us. Is this leech affected by our stats at all? Is the damage affected by power/the heal affected by healing power?

Been playing around with fun defensive builds as I help my friend start out int he game. Been using the staff’s aoe blind/vulnerability to help them kill people and stay alive, and I’m wondering if (as the staff is power), building power and healing power with Skelk, Ice Drake, and either Devourer or Skale venoms would help buff those respective venoms as (save for Skale venom) they don’t do condition damage.

It appears, according to wiki, the damage scales with power and the healing with healing power.

Venoms usually take your stats/traits to control damage, duration and likely also healing.
