I’m considering filling my last slot with a thf… Admittedly for the perma stealth trolling I could do in WvW when I’m bored (oh the lulz)

I’m wondering what the communities experience with the new healing venom is though, it seems like a somewhat tankie condi build with venom share could have some solid utility in small group play. Has anyone used this yet, how effective is Skelk Venom?

I don’t think I would run venom share for solo roaming but how is it as an off build?

Venom share builds have never really been solid builds and that’s still pretty much the case. The concept can sound appealing on paper, but when you consider the 360 range restriction, the 5 person cap, and the likelihood of losing out the benefit to either overhealing or just adding to the duration of a condition that’s removed an instant later, it just doesn’t pan out well in practice.

You also get no stun breaker or condi cleanse from venom skills, which is a pretty big disadvantage in PvP.

As for the heal itself, you’ll get much better personal healing from Withdraw (in addition to mobility and an evade), which has a 0 cast time. Even Hide in Shadows surpasses it in most situations because of the condi cleanse.

yeah. it can be used decently….kinda….sorta….in pve if u space em out…but still iwouldnt recommend it.. venoms are FAR from “there” despite what those anet peopl will say. if u dont wanna take our word for it. go ahead and waste hudred gold. and hours of yourlife. but d/p is playable evven tho there are no real troll builds left…..

I’ve been playing my thief, solo they’re pretty hilarious, though its not great against multiple people cause you lack good escapes and such .. but in a 1v1 you can explode some people pretty much instantly….

However you want an obscene amount of bags, go full venoms with venomshare and just run with the zerg, I’m pretty sure anyone who hits anyone with your venoms gives you credit.
