Venoms & SB
Venoms are good under the conditions that you’re actually taking all the venom traits and using them to their full potential. That includes running with a group and using venom share. If you’re off trying to be a solopwnmobile I would not bother.
You know what I had completely overlooked Venomous Aura, thanks
Heh, that’s pretty much what I run:

edit: oops bad link

Sadly your link is broken but I have swapped to 30/0/30/0/10 so I can utilize the venom traits in Shadow Arts. I dislike the adept choices in shadow arts simply because I use withdraw over hide in shadows but I might have to change that.
My reasoning is that withdraw gives a free evade as well as an increase in total HPS when CD is considered. any thoughts?
my thoughts: condition removal es OP
taking the shadow arts trait means I don’t have to use up utilities on condition removal
Honestly condition removal is fine imho, I mean so what people can remove the conditions, they can’t remove them as fast as I can reapply them.

every 36 seconds when traited……

I’m not talking about opponents removing conditions, I’m talking about removing conditions opponents apply

You assume my only conditions come from venoms? Hah, bad troll is bad.

Oh now I see what you mean.

I dont think you know what trolling means.
My point is that, even traited, your venoms can only be fired off every 36 seconds. meaning they arent even an issue to be reapplied for your opponent because the cooldown is so long.
That leaves you with no other conditions that any other build doesnt have and not any more difficult to remove than any other build.
Playing Venom SB right now, and I gotta say the conditions/utility I’m putting out is just insane… Once people discover this it’s going to be the new Flavor of the Month build.
30/10/30/0/0
Deadly Arts: IV / VIII / XII
Critical Strikes: III, could probably swap out these 10 points somewhere else, but I feel like I need the damage.
Shadow Arts: II / VII / XII. Feel like every bonus in this branch except for VII and XII are wasted, but sharing venoms is just that good.
Weapon Rune: Gain might on Crit
Armor Runes: Lyssa, because I run withdraw/Basilisk Venom, both of which have unusually low cooldowns. The Precision is also nice.
Knight Amulet+Knight Gem.
The only issue I’ve seen with this build is how easy it is to get locked down and killed if you get hit with even a single disable. Also has no way of removing conditions, but you have the capability to run from a fight against a heavy condition user.

I doubt that, only because group support and AE PvP effectiveness are much less popular roles than “can win lots of duels” when it comes to flavor of the month builds.

Thus why I was right to expect naysayers, I haven’t tried that specific setup although I am willing to give it a shot I went with -10 to CS and +10 to Trickery for Thrill of the Crime because I often use it without a target near my allies to give them a boost, which is something I personally feel is essential to group support. I feel this makes Steal feel more purposeful since it really doesnt have a purpose in a support build. I also am using the Soldier’s Set, hadn’t pinned down a weapon sigil choice yet but I wont go for anything on crit since I am not gearing or traiting for it. I chose to kinda play toward my strength and accepted that being disabled is going to happen so hopefully survivability will keep me up. Also playing into that is my traited Slowed Pulse in SA, it might be overkill and maybe worth while to see how much 5% SB dmg will benefit me even though I am not focusing on dmg. Thanks for your constructive input!
