Each venom alone is very strong but when used together, it is very counterproductive. We have Basilisk, Devourer, and Ice Drake venom. Each of these venom is one form of CC or another. Used together is counterproductive because if you have someone stunned from Basilisk, you don’t really need to immobilize them with Devourer. You are basically wasting the immobilize, and if you also use the Ice Drake Venom, you are wasting a chill because if they are stunned/immobilized, why would you need to slow their movements?

Combine this with Skale Venom which uses torment, and they are not moving, so it reduces damage by 50%. We have four venoms that when used together, reduces effectiveness by 50%-100%.

Now the skilled player would alternate these venoms to increase efficiency. The problem with that is when a thief utilizes venom its mostly because of venomshare for that team support. It is hard to share your venom in combat especially when you are a thief that jump around places faster than your teammates. We pre-venomshare them to get around this, thus decreasing venom efficiency.

The main culprit to our venom deficiency is the radius of venomshare. Increasing the radius range to 1200 would be overpowered but at its current state, its counterproductive. There is no need to have four venoms that CC. There needs to be more venom diversity or a better way of sharing.

I usually start with devourer’s venom. If the enemy is clustered and my team is melee based (cluster part is usual in pvp) I can share the second venom without having to worry much about the location of my allies.
Also, I’m not to worried about getting my venoms shared to all 4 allies. Having 2 of them is good enough.

But then again I don’t run so many venoms together. I only run a maximum of 3 venoms so I have room for 2 stunbreakers. This lowers the problems of having too many CC skills that partially antagonizes eachother.

Also thank you for being the first topic I read today with proper English!

For venomshareing it better to alternate any ways, leeching venom is 50% the reason you would take VA, and it doesn’t stack with more then one venom so it pointless to pop them all at once.
And when trying to decide how to pop my venom mid fight , it usually goes like this

Me: OMG!!!, more than 1 other person is close by, here is a healing venom.
Them: but I’m full health.
Me: I don’t care!!!
