If a Guardian gets wrecked by a p/d then obviously he’s a bad guardian or he just didn’t bring enough condition removal utility.== Plus, the video only features inexperienced players getting ganked by an experienced player. That mushroom who uploaded the video should fight other “OP” condition class or at least try to pull off what the thief did then he’ll understand what the true nature of the thief’s current state is at. cough cough PU mesmers.

That Thief played really well I must say. Despite the inexperience of the two. He dodged eviscerate, he positioned the traps almost perfectly and kept pressure the whole time while remaining stealthed. Almost made me wanna try a condition build.

What also makes me cringe is seeing bad players with Legendary weapons … that guardian was bathing in caltrops while she was casting GS#5 lol.

Wow, at the start they were doing just fine, too!

Hell, once they let themselves be led into the ambush, that’s the only time things went south. Warrior was tanking most of it for the first half of the video.

That P/D build will only really shine on the inexperienced or the afk. If they had moved around a lot, he wouldn’t have been able to land a cloak and dagger with regularity.

There’s a variant of P/D that drops a nasty condi bomb that ticks for 4-5K a second. One of them would’ve dropped a lot faster than that vs. that build.

Edit: That’s a pretty good build for zerg surfing.
